What we install

Keyless smart locks with per-guest or per-tenant codes, exterior cameras positioned to cover entrances without pointing at private spaces, doorbell cameras, motion and entry sensors, and water leak sensors for the mechanical room. Everything is set up on your accounts, on your Wi-Fi, with you holding the master credentials.

Why it matters for a rental

A smart lock removes the key handoff entirely: each booking gets its own code, active only for the stay, and a lockout at eleven at night becomes a new code sent by message rather than a drive. Entry logs settle disputes about arrival and departure times, and exterior cameras, disclosed in the listing as the platforms require, deter the bookings you did not want.

For long-term rentals, the same hardware covers vacant periods between tenancies, which is when properties are most exposed.

Privacy done correctly

Cameras belong outside, covering doors and driveways, never inside a rented space. We install to the platform rules and Ontario privacy expectations, wire the disclosure wording into your listing, and document camera positions so there is never a question about what records what.

Part of getting the property back in one piece

An entry log that shows exactly when a guest or tenant came and went, and a camera on the driveway rather than the living room, do more for a damage dispute than any conversation after the fact. For a rental anywhere from downtown Kitchener to a Cambridge heritage property, that record is often the difference between a platform or a deposit actually covering a repair and a disagreement about what happened.

Quoted per property

Hardware, installation and configuration are quoted together after we see the property, and the quote arrives by email with no obligation. If we already manage the property there is nothing to coordinate; if we do not, this works as a standalone installation.
